Directions to the MBI
The Max Born Institute at Max-Born Straße 2A is located on the grounds of the Technology Park in Berlin-Adlershof. This district is located in the southeast of Berlin, only a few kilometers from Berlin-Schönefeld Airport. To reach the institute there are several possibilities. You can orient yourself in the given direction and in the linked map. Look for a complex of several buildings whose facade is covered with metal.
1. Coming from the center (east) take the B96a (Adlergestell) towards Schönefeld/Grünau to Adlershof. Before the Adlershof S-Bahn station, turn right under the S-Bahn bridges into Rudower Chaussee. After about 1200 m turn right into Max-Born-Straße (opposite the Johann von Neumann Haus of Humboldt University). Drive along Max-Born-Straße for about 200 meters to Johann-Hittorf-Straße and turn left. After 30 m you are directly in front of the left north entrance of the MBI, where you can usually find a parking space.
2. From the center (West) you can reach the city motorway (direction Dresden). You drive to the exit Adlershof. After the exit, drive straight on until the underpass of the motorway bridge. Immediately after, turn left into Hermann-Dörner-Allee, then right again into Rudower Chaussee. You are already in "Berlin Adlershof, city for science, economy and media". After about 100 m turn left into Schwarzschildstraße. You drive to the end and turn right into Johann-Hittorf-Straße. After 30 m you are directly in front of the north entrance of the MBI on the right, where you can usually find a parking space.
3. Coming from the airport (BER), it is best to drive in the direction of the city center on the B96a and then turn at the S-Bahn station Adlershof in the Rudower Chaussee and continue as described under 1..
