The buildings of the MBI and its neighborhood
The Max Born Institute is located in Berlin-Adlershof, city for science, economy and media, Germany's most modern technology park and most important scientific, economic and media location in the capital region. Berlin-Adlershof is located in the southeast of the capital.
The aerial view shows the MBI seen from the north. The MBI is housed in several buildings for offices, laboratories, seminar rooms and a lecture hall (Max Born Hall). The chemical storage facility and the technical center are operated together with the neighboring Institute for Crystal Growth (IKZ). The technical center generates electricity and cooling water for all buildings of the MBI and the IKZ.
